Joe Murphy has been playing throughout the lower Hudson Valley since the 1990’s

Initially, with his friend Tim Murphy, as a duo, that went on to develop into the Irish-American group Seisiun (pronounced session).

As a part of Seisiun, Joe had the opportunity to perform throughout New York.

Some highlights were the Hunter Mountain Irish Festival, Opening act for The Irish tenors Ronan Tynan and John McDermott at Palace Theater in Albany, and Symphony Hall in Springfield Mass.

Joe had the honor of performing the Firefighters Creed at the New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Albany for many years.

As a solo artist, Joe continues to perform at festivals and music venues throughout the area.
